Doubling Up
Two manufacturers of equine back care products, Thin Line and Back on Track, have joined forces to develop the Contender II saddle pad. According to manufacturers, the new saddle pad delivers therapeutic thermal heat from the Back on Track fabric combined with the shock-absorbing properties of ThinLine. The pads are available for dressage and jumping.

From Sabre Equine comes the Sneaker Rehab Boot, a high-top sneaker designed for horses with hoof problems. The sneaker protects the hoof during turn-out, stall rest or light exercise and can be adjusted for a custom fit. The Rehab Boot comes in eight sizes.

Keeping Warm
With cold temperatures around the corner, Mountain Horse introduces a new riding jacket called the Inferno. The jacket is water- and windproof and is padded with breathable Thinsulate. The polyester microfiber outer shell has reflective piping on the shoulders and sleeves for visibility in the dark. The seams are fully taped and the jacket comes with a detachable hood.
Other features include a two-way waterproof front zipper, two front hand-warming pockets with microfleece, two inside pockets and one small sleeve pocket. In addition, there are riding vents on the back. Suggested retail price for the Inferno, which comes in Green Earth or Dark Grey, is $238.
